Headlight bulb

Just want to know what is the best bulb you all have used for your HHR, currently my headlights are tinted so with the stock bulb its not so bright at night. I don't want to go with HID's right now due to $$ restrictions. If you have any pics with your brighter bulbs it would be much appreciated.

I have used silver star bulbs before.

Thay are brighter than the stock bulbs but they do run hotter and don't last very long.

I have now went back to the stock bulbs because I would only get about 8 months out of the silver stars.

Oldblue has mysterious psychic powers George, he knew you'd read this thread.

And my two cents worth on the Silverstar bulbs, brighter than stock, better beam pattern than stock, excellent on rainy/foggy nights, and they last about 8-9 months.

I haven't gone back to OEM equivalent bulbs, 8-9 months is just enough time for me to forget the "fun" of replacing headlight bulbs, so I put in a fresh set of Silverstars and go on with my day.
