HHR SS headlights

Anyone know the size of the area around the headlight bulbs? I'm wanting to make angel eyes for my ss but don't want to tear apart my housing just yet since it's my only car and don't have the stuff just yet to seal it back up. http://www.carid.com/evo-lighting/evo-lighting-universal-accessories-5335645.html

I moved your post to mods-exterior. Welcome to the site

There are a few threads on here about taking the head lights apart. Use the search box at the top of the page.

I search the head lamps but there was too many to link over.

Welcome to the site.

An FWIW: The headlights are the same for the SS and other HHR's.
My advice is to get another set of headlights to modify. That way you can keep the original ones installed and still be able to drive while you're working on the angel eye mod.

If you can stand a wait of a week or three, since I'm up in Canada while we deal with my wife's Mom who had a massive heart attack and emergency surgery on Friday.

I'll send you a pair of OEM headlights for the cost of shipping Sammy SS, they're not 100% perfect since they saw 80,000 miles of service in Paddy before being changed out for a set of new DEPO headlights...a few light stone chips, stuff like that.

But you could use them as experimental test units, shipping from North Carolina to Kansas might run $20 or so, PM me if you'd like 'em.

Hey Sammy,

Welcome to the Site! I'm interested in this mod as well. Peevlos has done it with success and links to the parts he used.

Keep us updated, there's a ton a knowledge around here.

@843de - aren't all the HHR headlights the same?
