SS Rocker Panels
SS Rocker Panels
I know what I am going to do with my front and rear bumpers, so long humps, but I think I want SS styled rocker panels. The reasons is twofold, After cleaning Big Red, the rear quarter panels are just trashed. Well, not the body, but the adhesive protective cover. I changed them out two or three years ago and was expensive, and not permanent. I also like the look of a full bodied mid section of the vehicle. I know running boards are an option, but I don't like the style.
New SS panels online are around 700 a set from GM parts online, I won't even go into the dealer here on Guam, they want 89 for a key and 145 for a fob, plus labor to program. What do you guys think about a set of rockers made by Duraflex? I've heard nothing but bad news on Razzi, and not really anything great about Duraflex on the forum. Everything I've seen though is from four years ago or earlier.
I really wish there were some HHR's or Cobalts on this little island so there would be some in the junkyards
If I decide against the cheaper rockers, what have you guys done about road debris on the rear panel? Just replace the adhesive guards as needed?
Thanks in advance

One way to deal with it is to get the rock guards from a 2006, they are plastic. http://www.gmpartsnow.com/auto-parts...rear-door-scat
