Take a look at the post I created a couple of years ago. One of our members had exterior lighting. I still like it.

on the back, i 'am' going for the glow, and on the front it would mimic the 'big rig' clearance lighting effect.
i DO plan on getting a pair of headlights and doing the "Audi" look, but that's down the road a piece; still got a 3-bar grille i'm working on.
