Take apart head lights

I want to paint the inside of my headlights. Not real sure on how to get the glass/plastic lens off the headlight.
Have seen a video of someone putting them in an oven on 250 degrees for about 7 min. To soften up the glue to detach them. Not sure about this method.
Plus the heat from the oven can distort the lens.
And how to you put it back together. ( super glue )
Does anyone know of another way, or has anyone do e this b/f and had any luck.

You can use the heat method on Depos, You will need to cut the factory ones. to put them back together you will need some OCI BUTYL RUBBER GLUE. Got my stuff from "The retrofit source"
I got a set of Depos to do the project, and glad I did. Took a lot longer then I thought it would.

Wow those lights would be perfect if they didn't have the led strip.
