Anyone done this?

Looking to put UV/purple LEDs behind the grill, now that I've installed a full black mesh grill.

Is it legal or not?

Also need to hit the hood release latch with some matte black PlastiDip.

 

Section 46.2-1025 in your state's vehicle code restricts purple lights either fixed or flashing to funeral vehicles, you could get a ticket.

It would really depend on when you use them, limited or show use would probably not draw the attention of "Johnny Law".
