Will an SS grille fit on an LS or LT.......

This has been a topic of discussion in the past and many have said no it will not. I even said no. Found out today that................yest it will. You only have to cut off the bottom bar of the grille and not the mesh at all.

I am so all over this mod. Going to the junkyard next weekend to get a part for my wife's Z24 and going to look for a wrecked SS. And will keep looking anywhere I can, when I can. This is my next mod.

There is a guy that spliced the bottom bar back in further up.... a better way as it gives the mesh some support.

I like it, and I'm betting that you can support the mesh from behind with some sort of brace.

I'm thinking the inner brace would be very helpful for just opening the hood..

Does look good tho....

I'm actually curious.... any flex at speed? prolly' looks like a quivering upper lip, at 80.

Looks nice, very nice.

I like this better than the one that was spliced together to retain the bottom bar. I doubt there is any flex at speeds. The mesh is no thin and has a frame to the bottom already. PLus using the stock grill bracket and it should be as good as the stock grill.

Very nice.

The only part of the LS or LT I have NEVER liked was the grille. I bet you this turns into the next "Depo Headlight mod" that everyone does to thier HHR.
