Will an SS grille fit on an LS or LT.......
This has been a topic of discussion in the past and many have said no it will not. I even said no. Found out today that................yest it will. You only have to cut off the bottom bar of the grille and not the mesh at all.

I am so all over this mod. Going to the junkyard next weekend to get a part for my wife's Z24 and going to look for a wrecked SS. And will keep looking anywhere I can, when I can. This is my next mod.

i know this an old thread but i had a question about te grille. so you have to cut the bottom off the grill and the lower mesh section can be saved. now im assuming that the mesh is still attached via the midle brace of grill and on the sides correct??
And I read a thread recently on this forum where a member left the SS grill completely untouched, but instead trimmed the bumper cover so that the grill actually passed into the bumper.
(Basically cover the top of the bumper cover with masking tape, close the hood until it makes contact, trace the profile with a pencil/marker, raise the hood, trim the bumper just outside of the marks. Close hood. Looks awesome)
Wish I could find the thread.
