new speedo

Looking for a SS cluster, will this be a plug and play or will I have to go to the dealer for program. That cluster is hard to find!!

Its both "plug and play" and "dealer programming required", you can just pop the new cluster in and have it work, but in order to reset the odometer reading to the correct mileage you'll need to head to the dealer.

If it is a new or reman cluster there is no programming. The odometer is stored in the BCM and only displayed in the cluster. You use a tech 2 scanner to set up the odomether. I believe a used cluster stores the old VINs miles and wont talk to the BCM because the VINs wont match.
