Safety

Does anybody know the part# for the bolt spacers for the rear seat belt upper and lower anchor points??? The blank stare I got from my local Chevy parts guy was not encouraging.... I have one set (upper left) but of course there are no numbers.

Thanks for any help!

Well I think I can explain the blank stares, there aren't any spacers according to the parts breakdown for the rear belts and assorted hardware. Check out the link below and you'll see what I mean.

Can you post up a pic of the spacers you have, it could be someone had things apart and used whatever was at hand.

I don't remember any spacers. I know the anchor bolts have shoulder so that the belt attachment point can swivel.

I noticed it wasn't in the diagram. I wouldn't have know about them at all if it wasn't for all the info you get on this forum! Here is one post I had saved:

I believe the bolt bottoms against the spacers beween the frame and the bolt shoulder to keep from crushing the panel trim... I'll try to put some pics up tonight.

I see the OP in that thread used aftermarket belts rather than OEM units, that may explain the mysterious spacers he used, they might only be needed with the belts he used.

Post up some pics when you can, put enough heads together and we'll figure it out.
