I may be going to OG motorsports later this morning to look at some Sparcos. They're in Sterling.

Version 2.0 brackets coming soon, with Sparco seats mounted to them possibly.

Exclamation Change out seats with seat airbag sensor

I want to change out the seats on my 2006 HHR but i have the airbag seat sensors that come on only when someone is sitting in the passanger set. Do you know if I can: A. Put sensors on the new seat? B. Trick them into being on all the time so i do not have to put them directly on the seat. I can just have them setting on the floorboard under seat or something?
Any info would be helpfull.
Thanks

I've been pulling 70-80 hour weeks since mid August, so no developments lately. I'm leaning toward some Recaro Style Toplines now. Heated, cooled, power seat bottom, with adjustable lumbar and side bolsters.

The airbag sensors can be transferred with relative ease. No need to bypass anything.

My lovely wifey and I are looking at houses, so there's no money for new seats. The bright side in all this will be getting a garage big enough for a lift.

That looks great. Can you still adjust the height up and down or was you goal just to make them lower? How did you even know what brackets were necessary and seat size and what not?? Im baffled, I'd love to change the front and rear seating in my HHR

Why do so many have issues with seat height? I'm 6'6" and I have a good 3 or 4 inches of headroom to spare. Is it more to do with sightline issues I can understand that but i'm used to it being taller. On another tangent, do the SS seats work in a LT. I would love more lateral support especially after my suspension mods are finished
