Red face SS Power Seat work in a LS

i got told fog lights from LT would work on a LS "Don't" after i bought them, the guy told me he would have to run a toggle switch and everything. Now im wanting a power seat from a SS to put on my driver side is this possible???

LS/LT fog lights are the same, 9140 bulbs, if there weren’t any fog lights before, you need to run a new harness from the dashboard switch.

the SS power seat will bolt in , you will need to connect to the wiring harness under the seat, the passengers air bag sensor will be different.

The BCM isn’t programmed for fog lights or the power seat

Sure about that Blue? My very base Panel - an LS, already had the wiring under the drivers seat for a power option. The BCM isn't programmed for fog lights, but it doesn't need to be for power seats - all there is on the harness is a + hot (all the time) and a ground. You're correct on the passenger airbag sensor unless he pulls the same year SS seats as his LT/LS.

To Nathan: see my thread above for the seats: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/mods...s-seats-63033/

Huh. GM must have added the harness later at some point. Since Nathan hasn't posted since and we don't know what year he has, we'll just have to guess :-)

Nathan apparently owns a 2009 LS, according to his profile and he other posts.

I see you have a 2010, so maybe he does have the power seat harness.

At least you guys seem to know what Nathan is saying.
He made 2 statements he did not ask for any help just "is it possible". Answer is: anything is possible if you can afford it.

Have to ask.
What does this have to do with this guy's question ?
