Sun visor stickers

I couldn't find a thread on this so i'm asking if anybody knows of a way of removing the manufactor stickers from the sun visiors?

Well... I can tell you that the new one I got from the dealer came with the sticker already there..

Some folks have tried peeling them off with mixed results, your best bet would be to find an upholstery shop to recover them with fabric to match the interior.

You do enter a grey area as far as liability is concerned, if you sell off your HHR and someone is injured by an airbag, it might come back on you. Also you can be liable for injuries suffered by a passenger if they claim that they were not aware of any injury potential due to the missing labels.

I think that it may be illegal to sell a car without those labels. And probably "safety inspection", too. Especially in California! Same goes for the labels on the underside of the hood and the driver's door frame. You are probably better off making a slip cover that can be removed when needed.

you could try warming them with a hair dryer ( being very carefull ) enough to losen them then they should peal right off...

It seems to me this topic has come up before and even using heat to peel them of left glue in the fabric and they needed covered anyways.... Better to do the slip cover.
