As far as getting there ... looking at my map, if you want to take the toll-free route at least from the Tonawandas MapQuest is showing me 290 to 90 to 33 pretty much the rest of the way there. If the weather's okay enough, we can have a group meet somewhere along the route. Your pick, Brian:

I think I'll probably try to get there a bit earlier in advance of the main party to see about parking and stuff, so I won't be joining the caravan from Buffalo. In the meantime...let's start thinking positive thoughts for sunny, dry weather conditions on Feb. 16th!

I know a few of you have given me your support and I sure do appreciate it as I was somewhat nervous about entering this thing. The voting's going on until Sunday night, so this is my shameless plea for your vote If you haven't already done so. If I lose I'll be drowning my sorrows in smoked brisket, ribs and cold brew on the 16th....come to think of it, if I win I'll be doing the same thing!

Probably around 2:45, Don. The main purpose being to scope out the best area to park. There's a lot right across the street that belongs to some church so that might be blocked off, but there's a city lot next to that. The best area would be right next door to the Smokehouse. I'm going to see if the manager can keep that one open for all of us. It should be able to hold 10or 12 cars.
