That would look great with some of the SS underhood addons from hhrboutique. If only I had the cash.

Put mine on today....

A deeper throaty growl from the exhaust, better throttle response and just looks way cool.

The thing is HEAVY though, putting one hunk of steel under your hood.

I stopped in the dealer at 9:30am, parts ordered it, they called me at 4pm to tell me it was in!

Plus they matched the online price, rather deal local if possible.

Numbers...if you want those, don't spend the money $400 is way too much for a few HP.
It's about the sound, the look and then the few ponies that you get for the $$$
If you just want HP, go with the inexpensive intake, most likely you'll get close to the same numbers.

But it does sound way cool....

I'd agree except that when you start getting codes and the dealer blames it on the intake and says they won't try fixing it except to clear the code until you put the stock back on, this becomes an easy decision. Oh yeah, love the $85 diagnistoc charge since they said it wasn't warranty work. And please don't give me the line about the Magnuson Warranrty Act, if a dealer doesn't want to work on your car, they will still say no.

I anticipate this intake performing much better than my CGS since it actually getting cooler air from the wheel well instead of hot air from the engine compartment. That and the hassles I won't have to put up with since it is a GMPP is well worth it to me.

I agree completely, Mike. Let us know your impressions after it's mounted. This one might be worth the money.
