Hate to be nit picker, but the GMPP part the description states 2008. So if you install it on a older model HHR and you get a code, the dealer could still give you a hassle. And if you're in California, to further complicate things CARB exemption maybe for a 2008, but it won't apply to previous years.

Hmmm maybe, makes sense but with 2008 having the same 2.2 engine why would it not apply to a 2007?

I agree it's the same engine, but for example here in CA, from my experience, you got to look at every angle.
