Muffler look!!!

Hi everyone , from cool but sunny Chicago.
Just checked out the photos of the Florida sandwich. Noticed one thing , and it pretty much applies to every HHR picture (rear view) I`ve seen,...
The muffler needs to be painted BLACK. This caught my eye when I took some snapshots.Krylon makes a BBQ & STOVE black ..one can will probably last the life of your Cruck , (made that word up). Also theres something silverish in the lower grill that needs a blast .
Be careful not to spray your Chrome tip though!!

Here's an even better idea: ditch the stock "aluminum turtle" -

and install an IMCO T-924 turbo muffler:

Not only is it virtually hidden from a normal rear view, but it gives the apperance that says to other HHR owners "I'm not stock." You will also gain a slight power increase and even improve your gas mileage a bit (if you drive sensibly). We've tested several repacement mufflers and this model IMCO compliments the HHR quite well.

They can be found HERE very reasonably.

Hope it helps,

Nawww, install the Stainless Steel Gibson Catback!

Though, I've heard CJ Krause's Imco muffler, and it does sound pretty good!
