Old School verses New!
#21
I was speaking of the general format. The poll comes before the content. You vote to get to see what you`re voting on.
Not your thread/poll.
Maybe hate is too harsh , I dislike it somewhat (better? )

I like the flexibilty the HHR "canvas" provides. It can be both old or new looking because of its wonderful design. Or it can be somewhere in the middle where mine will likely end up since I do/will do mods that I like irrespective of whether it makes my ride look old school or new.... it'll be "my school".

The problem is in the forum software, not on anyone who sets up a poll or on the Admin of the forum. I have seen this on numerous occasions. I always go look at the discussion before I vote now. But in this case it was pretty obvious.

I'm going with vehicle since the 49 Suburban is the daddy of the HHR and so many people are going old school. Add to it that Holmes has the old Fleetline style chrome on his HHR and it makes me think that as well. He then asked for a couple of pictures... His pictures have been doctored, yes, but his old school HHR is the subject. I don't think old school is a word to describe photographs. Had he said old style maybe.
I don't want to speak for Frank but that is what I get from it.. Again, it is a shortcoming in the forum software that is not the fault of anyone. There needs to be a better way to do polls written in to the software.
