I was also wondering how the finish holds up especially here in the midwest, with all the road salt that we use in the wintertime. They look really nice especially on Sindys white HHR, would like to have them but not sure how they would hold up.

I know this was asked of Sindy but I thought I'd chime in to support Mike's (SoCalHHR) statement. Like his mine has 16's and when I had the Goldlines I had 3.5" clearence and no scrapes. But just as a suggestion you might want to consider the single outlet pipes without end caps, this will give you a little more road clearence. I would check with Mike to see if he has a source.

Yeah, although the odds of scraping are better with the triples I decided on them too.

Hello

Hi,
Im new to this forum and just this past week purchased my Sport Red 06 HHR. I was wondering about the pipes....are they functional or for looks only. Dont get me wrong I think they look really good, just curious.

Thanks
Greg

They are for looks only from what I understand.

i am going to make mine functional just to use for shows
and some fun

you have to buy an exectric cutout and a y and then have a muffler shop hook them up

the switch inside to the cutout will open the pipe to the side lakes and vuala,,, they are functional

since there is no muffler and less pressure the HHR wont run as nice
