The front grill was the first thing I noticed when I saw an HHR the first time.... That stock grill was what made me think "I gotta have one of those!"... and I still feel that way.
I'm the same way. One reason I kept the stock on for so long. I liked it from the start. I hated that mesh one I tried 5 years ago. I kept looking for one, but nothing was ever what I liked. WHen I first saw this grill, the gears started rolling and I came up with an idea. Deceided to go for it. For now, the stock one will rest peacefully on the garage wall. But I am still very fond of the 5 bar.

Heard back from the EBay seller of the grill on the broken tab. I send them pics of the broken piece along with the finished product so they would know I didn't do this on purpose. Getting a $15 refund.

I would say that probably paid for the bowtie but I know those billet bowties can get expensive.

Yea, it was more than $15, but the refund almost covered the shadow kit....

I came home and went to orielys for some t-caps to splice my wires for my led turn signal bulbs and by the time I got home and ate my subway...it was too late to get started. I'm just going to hold off until Friday evening or Saturday morning. My grill will be here tomorrow so I'll just wait and do everything at the same time.
