06 door problem. Yes have searched, please help.

So my wife's 06 door won't open.

I read and reread all the post.

Did the bump, pushed and pulled!

Sprayed WD.

I was able to open top of panel and get light and hands in there. Everything is connected!

Everything seems to be going full travel?

Pulled fuse and tried again(someone recommend).

I can not get door to unlatch.

I believe it is the small motor as posted, but how to get door open?

Funny thing is the ignition switch was replaced yesterday at stealer and now door doesn't work today!

Everyone has helped me fix many problems and not a newbie with cars.

Please help?

Thank you!

If you can pull the plunger up, I doubt it has anything to do with the motor or the recall.
I can't help getting it open beyond getting a locksmith or a body mechanic.

Drivers door ?
Have you tried the key to unlock it ? (did the lock turn ?)
Have you tried to manually unlock it ?(from the inside with the lock plunger)
Tried the handle from inside the car?

Sorry to ask all the questions, but your post is full of frustration which I can understand.
Since you are frustrated, all I got from your post was you bumped, pulled, pushed and sprayed something. What that something was, I don't know. Thus the need for the extra questions.

Thank you for your reply.

Did I try inside handle? Wow wish i thought of that?

Yes I tried the key, Yes I tried the plunger.

Posted everything seems to be going full travel.

I sprayed inside the door were the all the cables and rods attach to the locking mechanism.

Hundred if not thousands of GM owners talked about hitting door near handle. Pushing door closed and pulling handle.

I thought it was posted here many times. That is why i posted read all post.

No. This is what you posted. "Everything seems to be going full travel?"
The question mark makes it a different sentence.

Sorry, but I was just trying to get a clearer picture of your problem. If you want to chastise me, then I'll just bow out.
Maybe someone else can help you.

Well, then the rod to the latch has become disconnected. Afraid you will need a body guy.

Sorry I couldn't read between your lines. Bye.

Thank you.

Everything is connected.

Is there a release on the unit? Something I can push with a screw driver?

Thanks

No. A body guy may be able to remove the hinges, or know some non-destructive method.

If your insurance has lock out coverage, you may be able to BS your way in.
