06 HHR Climate Control Lights not working

Hi I am new to this forum first time posting and want to make sure I get everyone the details they need to help me with my issue thanks in advance.

2006 Chevy HHR, LT
My HHR lights for my A/C and heater controls, power windows are not illuminated. My speed gauge and everything up top are good. My tail lights and headlights both work. My hi beams are very low, just throwing that detail out there I guess they're out?

Recent events. I changed to an aftermarket unit and I did not purchase a special adapter for turn signal sound/audio. I don't think this is affecting anything but figured I'd mention

I changed the dimmer for the cluster and still same issue.

I checked all fuses under the hood and on passenger side. I also made sure everything was in fastened correctly.

What else can I check to fix these lights. I even took apart the middle panel to see if everything is connected. I saw this cable dangling no idea what it's for. Any help?

Welcome to the site, double check your work, possibility a ground wire missed . Check the under hood fuse panel to ensure the halves are tight.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check again for sure. Is there something in particular I should pay attention too I mean I fastened them all. There was a 30amp large fuse without the cover that's labeled Cooling Fan not sure if that makes a difference.

On my '06, ALL of those lights are on the green wire.
Some where that wire has been compromised.

If this happened right after the install, take it back. All of those light are supposed to be on the GRY wire, fuse #28 on the BCM.
