06-Under dash leak

Our 2006 has a leak under the dash on the passenger side. Every time it rains the carpet gets soaked. Any suggestions on what is causing this?

Most likely it is the butyl patch under the valance that covers the wiper mechanism that is leaking. Use the search tool at thentop of the page and look for butyl patch. There have been quite a few owners that have had the patch leak, so there are instructions here on how to repair it. Just use the search tool, and you will find full instructions.

also, be aware that the leak sometimes hits the resistor for the heater fan, resulting in it only running at one speed. It is easily replaceable as well - use the search tool for full instructions on how to replace it.
