07 Chevy HHR 2.2l ecotech emissions system


So I have done a drive cycle atleast i think i had and I have also drove an additional 20 miles and then had the system tested and it says said the sensors are still not reading.

Would a working but faulty MAF sensor cause the emissions system to not run diagnostic properly or keep the system from running the diagnostics?

Yes, it’s plausible that could be the case. What codes do you have? Post just the codes and we can decipher them for you.

There were no codes at the time I thought of the MAF sensor being faulty was just watching the live data and it seemed to be acting up jumping from .34-.44 LBS/min



But I now my Cat has completed but evap,o2s,HTR are still incomplete and I now have a pending P0446 code. Any advice on this?

Try blowing air thru the under hood EVAP valve, it should be closed. Replace the valve if air does pass thru it.
