07 Won't crank

I have an 07 LT 150,000 miles. Bought it with 19 miles on the odometer on the way to my baby shower! It has been an amazing car. My son who is a month younger than my car haha is now driving. Yesterday morning it made a weird noise so he turned it off. I told him do it again so I could listen. Won't crank now. At first it sounded like when battery is low but now it won't do anything. Had battery checked and we're good on that. I checked oil and it was very low. Old light hasn't been on at all. Added a couple of quarts and nothing. The car has never used oil. It's been changed regularly. But the last time I had the oil changed I noticed my front passenger wheel was black. Driver side wasn't bad but still was dark. After that I noticed dark spots where I park. I'm having it towed in the morning but can any one suggest what might be going on? Im afraid its going to be expensive. Some one told me to use a breaker bar to see if it seized. Another said starter. But I just had a new starter replaced 2 years ago. I can give more information just ask. Thanks for any suggestions

Does that mean it still didn't hit the stick?
If so, I think your engine is toast.

I would hope the timing chain broke.
Lots of things are black. Disc brakes make lots of dust on the front wheels. Did you put a finger on it? Oily or dusty?

In future check your oil level frequently, on any car you might have. Follow the maintenance schedule in your Owner Manual. Coolant needs to be changed at 5 years, has it ever been changed?

A used engine should be around $2000 installed.

No. after adding 2 quarts it was more than half way full on the dipstick.

I just had new brakes etc replaced about 6 month ago. No I don't believe the coolant it has been changed. Only checked when oil changed.

See if you can rotate the crank. Pull the plugs to make it easy.

If you turn the key to start and you don't even get a click, then it's an electrical problem.

Dust comes from new brakes just as much as old ones, more depending on type.

Most likely the crankshaft seal is leaking , the timing chain is either skipped or broken, any CEL on?
