I know that they are different part numbers but will a 2.4 exhaust manifold bolt up to a 2.2 and if yes would it be beneficial in any way? I saw an exhaust manifold from a 2.4 and it looks like a mini header to me. I have no idea what a stock 2.2 looks like. Also do these cars have a PCV valve? If yes, where is it located? Can it be purchased separately and I know on older cars that the rattle test was the best way to test them? If these cars have them is this still the best test for them? As always any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Exhaust manifolds are interchangeable, no real power gain .
No pvc valve in the 2.2 or 2.4

 

The PCV is not a replaceable valve, there is some sort of baffle built into the valve cover.
