2006 HHR Door locks- All dead-dealer no help
Just a follow up on my door lock problem. The dealer is saying that the BCM is good and all wires are good. Thus, all four of my door lock actuators are bad. I'm saying B.S. They were working when I took to them to change the BCM and I can't see all failing at the same time. They said it could have been a power surge, yea wright. if it did, they caused it. in order to verify this, is there a way to run direct power to a door actuator., to test it. please let me know. Thanks again for the help.
p.s. I can't wait to write a review about this rip off.

I look at the wiring diagram and see that the relays have common power and ground. So damage to either or a bad connector or ground would explain all door locks leaving the chat together. Maybe they screwed up a wire or connector when they put in the new BCM.
So yeah, jumpering the power and ground should narrow things down.
Maybe I buried my questions, or they were already answered (sorry) maybe you though they were irrelevant; Do you hear any noise at all (either up or down?) Did any of them ever operate part way? Can you operate the locks with the manual buttons? Do they seem stiff?
I agree, a dealer not taking responsibility for the what they obviously messed up isshocking typical.

Hard to imagine all 4 actuators went bad at the same time, while at the shop.hard to imagine more than 1 ground going bad. A common point is "logic" on the left side of the diagram that donbrew shared. Looks like it's part of the BCM?
Have you checked that the fuse is getting power?

If replacing the BCM made them stop working, I would be looking at the plugs and pins on the BCM; especially the white and white/black wires on pins #6 and #7 on connector C1 (the horizontal one on the lower right), those are the lock/unlock signals.
The difference between lock and unlock is a resistor in the buttons.
