I am having problems closing the sunroof on my 2006 HHR. When you try to close it it will go so far and the reverse itself and reopen. On both sides of the sunroof there is a sliding plastic piece that appears to be cracked and they move when it is closing and when the roof hits them is when it reopens. If I hold them down with my fingers to prevent them from moving it will close but does not always close evenly. I can’t seem to find anything about the plastic pieces and am wondering if it’s part of the frame. I would hate to have to replace the frame for 2 cracked pieces of plastic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
