If you were driving one of there cars your car would be fixed a lot faster!! part on order, down in shop, cust in rental!! part would be there in two days, Thats the GM way. I use to do it that way all the time to get parts faster. A week is just a normal part order time 7 to 10 days again the GM way

Yep, once a courtesy vehicle is involved, the price goes up quickly for warranty work. The faster the vehicle is repaired and back in the owners hands, the better for GM and the dealer (and of course, the customer).
