Started my HHR today, put it in reverse and it died like I turned off the switch. Put it back in Park and all it does is spin over. NO START.
No Check Engine on. I checked the fuse panel under the hood and found fuse #45 (IGN fuse) blown. Replaced it and it did the same thing again.
I noticed the wire loom missing in and the harness was rubbing on the engine lift bracket.. Flipped over the harness and sure enough there was the problem. Attached is a picture of where my issue was. This is on the LH side of engine toward the firewall. Harness rubbing on bracket caused a short
