2009 HHR LS turn signal electric issue?

Hi everyone, I got my 2009 HHR LS today and I think I’m having a unique issue, so I would love some help if anyone has any answers!

I drove the from the dealership about an hour before the issue came up, but my right side turn signal just outright stopped. When I press up to turn the turn signal on, the dash doesn’t even flash the arrow anymore. Sometimes, maybe every 1 in 15 times, it will flash once but then not again. Left side is working completely fine, and my hazards also work, so I don’t think it just went out and needs a new bulb. Maybe fuse related? Idk.

Unfortunately my car came without a manual so I’m just really at a loss for what is going on and how to fix it. I would love some answers if anyone has em, thanks in advance!

Most commonly it’s the rear bulb, however it could be the front bulb
here is a link to free GM owner’s manual.
you should call the people you purchased the HHR from as this is part of the safety inspection, in case it’s the multi switch on the left side of the steering wheel

Thanks for quick reply! Unfortunately it was an as-is purchase so something was bound to be off haha. Gonna start by replacing the bulbs and then go from there is the issue persists. I appreciate the help!

to the forums!

When 1 bulb goes out, doesn't it flash quickly, Oldblue?
