Angry 2009 winshield wiper linkage

Good morning, I think ill go to a few junk yards today...my driver side wiper quit on me, and I can see its the linkage. What other years are compatible with the 2009? I have never had this problem before.

As far as I know, the linkage is identical from '06 to '11.

Give this thread a read too, some helpful hints...

yeah, check out that link - I fixed mine years ago using that posting by drilling it out slightly and putting in a bolt, some washers, and a couple of nuts on the bolt, and a good bit of grease, and it is still holding up.

Mine did the same thing about 6 months ago. As the above post said, Just drill through the elbow joint and put a bolt through the hole with a washer on it. Dont tighten it down all the way though. Leave a little play or the arm will not articulate. Mine is better than new and no problems since.

I've had success with the doorman parts but you have to grind down the two ridges off the bushing first!!

Since this thread is 6 years old, please post the Dorman part number for those in need.

Dorman full transmission, with the years that fit

https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-85113-602-212.aspx

wrecking yard will work, but for how long?
I replaced Oldblue’s wiper transmission several years ago , and kept the old one to do the drill and tap repair, when the BlackSwan needs to be repaired

per our parts thread page #3

Wiper mechanism repair - - suggested by donbrew/jeanvaugeois
