2011 Alarm issues

Hello All,
My 2011's alarm will randomly continuously lock the car over and over again. This mainly occurs if I lock the car using the remote, but it will go through this process if I lock the car only using the door lock. The horn sounds, the lights flash and all doors lock and I see the alarm light on the dash. If I unlock the car using the remote, the car will lock and then continually lock even when I'm driving.

Thoughts? Also, I am having trouble finding independent alarm place that can change the alarm since the alarm is factory installed...is that a thing?

Thank in advance.

Did this start after something happened? Like some work under the hood, new key.
Does it happen while you are driving? Does it happen when you are in bed sleeping?
Is there an after market alarm installed? There is a alarm from the factory, some people add one and remote start, since in 2011 remote start was an option and most after market remote start come with alarm.

You got to give us more than "my car broke, why"

Alarm Issues cont.

The only work done to the car within a month of the issue occurring was a basic oil change.
No new keys or fobs.
This occurs while driving, and all night and day.
The alarm is dealer installed, not aftermarket, no remote start.
If I lock the car using only the driver's side door control, the arming and rearming will not occur at least for a day or two, but not always.

I have not been able to pin down an exact scenario when it occurs or not. At this point, it seems random.

The alarm in the HHRs are factory installed, if a dealer installed it, that could be the issue.
when my battery died the alarm would go off like you explained, have your battery load tested , any parts palace will do it for free

Maybe a sticking remote.
Remove the battery from the remote. See if the problem goes away.

Locking with the fob is what arms the alarm. Locking with the fob then unlocking with the key will set the alarm off.
Factory installed or dealer installed? If there is a remote start option in the DIC customization menu you do have remote start, it needs to be enabled and Panic+Lock is the sane as the start button.
Maybe, you have a bad door/liftgate ajar sensor or hood ajar sensor (only installed with remote start). Since those are the only inputs involved besides the PK3 on the ignition switch
Maybe, check fuse #10 on the inside fuse box.
Have the ignition recalls been done, some were done sloppily and loose wires are possible? Link in my sig.
The light on the dash blinks slowly when it is armed, quickly when it is active. Free Owner Manual link in my sig.
Maybe, OnStar is doing something, pull fuse #24 on the inside fuse box. Unless you use it or built in bluetooth.
Make sure your key has the + in circle symbol on it.
