2011 HHR has no power
Good morning. I have a 2011 HHR that we bought last year. It has never had any problems but this morning when I went to start my car it had no power. I don’t think I left any lights on or anything overnight. I am wondering if it’s an issue with the antitheft system or what I should look at first to try and solve the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it were just antitheft, you would get warning lights on the dash. Probably a dead battery, loose or corroded connection. If you want to try to jump start it, follow the directions in the owner manual carefully.

I’m also thinking dead battery, if you get the driver’s door open , the open the hood, you can connect jumper cables, be careful, look before you connect!
Red positive cable goes to the terminal under the red hood on the fuse box, on the left hand , front end of the fuse box.
the Black negative cable connects to the ground on the driver’s side strut tower.
This terminal ^ under that red hinged plastic cap!
This is what it looks like see the positive sign+
Here’s the ground point, to connect the negative.
Now, you can start the car! Or you get pop the lift gate and replace the old battery . A 10 mm wrench, a 12 or 13 mm for the hood down bolts. If you remove the plastic cover as you can see there’s lots of room
