another clunk noise for my fellow members to help me with!
i just had koni struts n rear koni shocks installed now i have a noise when i turn the the wheel left and to the right i do think mine are the the bearing caps. i jacked the car up and moved the wheel left to the right and no noise.
one last update...so the dealer wanted the $471 for the strut with labor...
also recommended that i get my rotors turned for $145(when new rotors are less money) then proceeded to tell me that the sway bar link is a little loose and should also be done for an additional $126. oh and they recommended an Induction service(?) at $123.88..really? they would take a nieve enough person to the bank and empty it out their checking account

i wont pay them a dime....they are lucky they got the $40 for looking at it. i can do the strut myself and slotted rotors and pads might be $200...and they arent warped that bad, just a little shudder slowing from high speeds. they are unreal

If the dealer said - "Bearings", think about replacing bearings. Just check it yourself and take a decision. The same - the rotors, and links. It is not necessary to believe your dealer, but easy to verify his words.
An opportunity to kill two birds with one bullet.

Just an update...the SS is at the dealership. they say it will be $39.95 just to look at it if its not under powertrain warranty. ive been doing some searching and had my car in the air last night.. I'm thinking it could be the intermediate steering shaft also...but its up to "buffalo's best service and body shop" to figure it out
I hope you have a great extended holiday weekend.

I hear you man
My Dealer sucks monkey balls too. Nice to see that GMCUSTSERV person "understands" as well, that ought to make you feel better. I know I sure did when I was told that they "understand" my frustration. Best O Luck!
