Antifreeze Leak

I have a small antifreeze leak on the right side underneath the engine. The pic is looking straight up from underneath.

Any info on what this is and how to get to it to fix it would be greatly appreciated. 2010 LS Panel 2.2 Liter auto transmission.

That is the water pump drain plug. Lay under the car with a wrench and tighten it, may need to take it out and re seat it.

Good chance the fluid is actually coming from the top of the pump, that means new water pump.

Thanks so much for the quick response! Watching it the leak looks as if it is coming from the area around that bolt. I'll see if reseating it resolves the leak.

So it looks like I need a water pump. Called around to a few places locally and prices varied from $270 labor + $95 for the pump and antifreeze to stealership price of $600 labor and $270 for the pump. I review the previously posted instructions and a couple of videos. Other than close quarters, it doesn't look too bad. Thanks again Don. This forum is invaluable.

You can get the tool at AZ etc. They have gotten less expensive.

The directions I posted in the Tutorials is from the book with some added pix.

A fairly easy job, Cloyes even has a kit for timing chain and water pump
