Don't go too long with that bad cat, if the monolith inside melts completely and restricts the exhaust you'll be in for another round of trouble I'm afraid.

Good news, new cat will be put on next Tuesday. YEA!!!!

Im already noticing a BIG improvement in MPG with the new plugs and coil, went from avg 23-24 up to 27, can only imagine with the new cat it will be even better....

Yup, she'll purr like a kitten with a new free flowing converter, its a bummer about the mechanical issues but I'm glad you got things fixed up.

Code P0121

Hello everyone, I am new, and this is my first post. I am getting a code P0121 which says it is the " Throttle Position Sensor" on my 2006 HHR LT, 2.4 . Funny thing though the car runs fine. I clear the code and a few days later it come back. Seems most prevalent during cold or damp weather. Anyone else having this problem? Also, will I have to replace the entire throttle body? Thanx.
