Battery Light, Alternator Wont Charge.
I wanted to share my HHR story. My wife ran our 2009 hhr battery dead by leaving the key on the power postion for over 24hrs. We jumped it and didnt let the battery charge up be for trying to catch a movie, and the car died on the side of the road about maybe 5 miles. The battery light was on and figured that the alt was bad sadly that didnt fix the problem. Then we replaced the Battery Current Sensor. still nothing. After 2 shade tree mechanics. Took it to a shop and $150 later it was a fuseable link in the power cable coming from the alt. I hope this save someone the headaches this has caused us over the last month.
