i have a set of rear brakes from a ss that had a bent axle i cut off the caliper mounting plate and clean it up and it looks like it should just bolt up to a non disc rear axle and work just fine and safe , maybe pushes the tire out a little from the size of the plate will lurk as i,m gone mod them up and one of my builders ,,,,
I made my own mod a few years ago. You will really notice the difference. You will have to change the parking brake cables also. They are different for the SS disc. Have you changed the front brakes to the 11.70 rotors?
