Brake Light/Turn Signal

Hey guys, I have a 2011 HHR. My left rear break light is working, but it does not blink, I get the fast blink noise when I try it. I've visually confirmed as well. It's the same thing when I unlock or lock the car, the rear tail light doesn't flash. Is this a bulb issue or some kind of electrical issue?

Thanks,

Replace the 3057 bulb, which can be picked up at any auto parts store.

Sounds like you need to change the bulb.
They are dual element, which means the brake signal may work while the turn signal is burnt out.

Check the front turn signal bulb. The flasher is designed to flash two bulbs. If one is out it will make the remaining bulb flash fast. Both the front and rear bulbs are duel element bulbs one element is turn signal and brake lamp the other is running lights

Welcome to the site, the front bulbs are 3157 the rears are 3057 and they do burn out and cause the issue you stated, change them out in sets as you will need to, possibly next week or two
