Brake noise

Replaced both rear bearings...ykes costs of parts! Rear brakes drum looked fine. However, occasionally when brakes applied a noise comes from the front. Steering wheel used to shake, but that went away. Read here to apply brakes and pull up on parking brake to "tighten" the rear brake/cable..did that and it set in under 4 clicks. Thanks for that tip. Can't see condition of rotors without taking off front wheels and in 94 degrees at age 80, I pass. Not to mention the nice folks at Walmart who for $586 put on 4 new tires before rear wheel bearing job...those convenient air lug wrenches should be outlawed. Now I have to go back, pay to loosen and retighten with my 4 way chrome wrench to my spec, not their 50 lb of air!

That is adjust the rear brakes so that the parking brake lever goes 4 clicks, not adjust the parking brake lever.
The wheel studs should be torqued to 100 lb. ft.
