Brake Problems

So i have not even 3k on my SS now and I already had to bring it in for service. the brake valve module has to be replaced. the pedal almost goes to the floor and i have to pump the brakes to stop but then after that the brakes work fine, it doesn't happen all the time. anyone else have this problem? I have the performance package.

Not see anyone with this issue. Just one of those rare odd things.

Sounds like a "one-off" to me.

That's why we get warranties, because no one is perfect. It's more important to me to buy from a company stands behind their product when something goes wrong, than to buy from a company that "probably won't" have problems, but if they do, they don't stand behind them

Does this happen the first start of the day?

It happens whenever it sits for more than like 4 hours.

There was a problem with certain year SS brakes some time back. Something about adding a different vacume booster if I recall correctly.

There should be able to find several threads using the search.

There is a TSB and a kit that fixes this problem....its only a start up issue with the SS as there is no vacuum to build up until the turbo settles down,, ( watch your boost gage and you'll see it) ...takes about 30 seconds and the gage will drop to 22 vac and all is well....
