Broken Bracket Wont Allow Window To Close Entirely
The black bracket part that lays flat as the window closes is partially broken. The window will not close all the way. When I do manage to get it closed, the back of the window is partly pushed down, like its off track. How can I get the bracket layed down so the window can close all the way to the front and still seal in the back. Its enough space for water to get thru and I don't want this.
Did somebody recently have the interior trim panel off?
In order to get that part back on right you have to remove the panel and re install it correctly. It is supposed to hang over the sheet metal, you may be able to force it back on if you have strong fingers.

The part of the trim panel that is supposed to clip over the sheet metal. Inexperienced folks usually miss the step and the panel does go on fine, but the top looks funny and does not seal the window.

It really sounds like the moonroof, I guess GM is calling it a sunroof. You know, the window that is in the roof? Sounds like the front deflector is broken.
I'm ok with windows 7, I'm not used to 10 yet. When I can't get windows to close, I have to resort to Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up task manager, then close the programs that way.
