A/C blower won't shut off car stalls

I have a 2010 Chevy HHR Lt AC blower will not shut off when I turn it to the off position car keeps stalling please help
UPDATE. The switch for heater/AC was burnt so got a new one. But the car keeps throwing P0107-P0106 I've replaced both MAF & MAP Sensors but the codes come back if I put my car in reverse I'm a 62 year old and I'm not sure what to check next I can't put it in the shop I live on a fixed income in California.

Has any body done any work around the dash board?
What happened just before this started?

Welcome, remove the HVAC controls from the dash and look for burnt plastic and connectors . Check the resistor up under the glove box area.

I doubt the car stalling has anything to do with the blower motor running.
Sounds like you have 2 separate problems.
Guessing you have a Check Engine Light on ?
Time to find a mechanic/shop.

My wild guess would be that somebody thought they knew something about electricity and shorted the blower motor.

Just a FYI.
Post #1 has been updated by the owner. Could easily be overlooked.

From obd-codes.com

P0106 could be caused by: Bad MAP sensor
Water/dirt intrusion affecting MAP sensor connector
Intermittent open in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor
Intermittent short in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor
Ground problem due to corrosion causing intermittent signal problem
A break in the flexible air intake duct between the MAF and the intake manifold
Bad PCM (do not assume the PCM is bad until you've exhausted all other possibilities)

The causes of a low MAP sensor signal circuit (P0107) could be any of the following: Bad MAP sensor
Open or short in the signal circuit
Open or short in the 5 Volt reference circuit
Ground circuit open or shorted
Bad PCM
