This is turning into a case of "too much information being a bad thing" - similar to those getting excited or disappointed when they read the DIC fuel consumption reading just after resetting it, thinking they are getting 55mpg or 15mpg - or watching the reading change rapidly after a reset as the system determines the "to-date" fuel usage.
