Car wont start

Remote didn't work so my wife used key to open door manually ,then inserted key into ignition, car wouldn't start and now key wont come out of ignition Please advise! can anyone help me?

Check your battery and the fuse box under the hood, search for video how to in the search window. Most likely your battery has given up

X2. Sounds like a low or bad battery. Other possibility is a bad battery connection.

Always best to include info like year and mileage when asking for help.
