ok i just installed my airaid intake and followed the instructions even though they sucked ass! but now i go to turn on the car n nothing i get the cd player n all accessories but no start i get the little security lock but i tired using my keyless option n nothing wont start please help ASAP

 

Did you replug the MAF??

Sounds like the electronic systems that "read" the engine are saying "no engine" !!

Has to be an electrical connection of some sort.

 

yup i talked the guys on cobalt n the dealer they said lock it up 30minutes if not take it in our cars are very sensitive to batterys n things for theft

 

Try another set of keys......I remember someone else had a problem, and that worked.....GL.......Regards

It's the weirdest thing with the keys, especially if they have never been used before. Had same thing happen to me once. Used the extra set dealer gave me and they didn't work until I cycled thru them about 10 times or so. My extra set was a 2nd key the dealer made that I hadn't used until one day I grabbed them instead of original set. Glad to hear problem is resolved.

Now remember the key that no longer work must be reset in the security system. That is what we have to do with our Chevrolet vehicles at work, Not all vehicles are the same some you can only have so many keys set, So try and have the Bad one reset. Good luck.

 

If you ever have the problem again...try pushing UNLOCK then try to start (humor me)
