Why not try both? Or, one at a time?

 

if you are referring to the fuses? I did try them both individually one at a time

 

Did you ask twice about something else?

 

The controller has power so we do not need to chase after fuses and relays.
It's probably the mode door actuator. Do you hear clicking coming from there when changing from floor to vent or defrost?

I tried the reset talked about in a previous response but it didn’t change anything, I did not hear anything click or any other kind of noise

 

Is it the vents don't change or the temp does not change? You have said both.

 

Thanks. I mentioned both because that’s what is happening!
when I select any other vent , it doesn’t change and when I turn the heat up it still blows cold, not AC cold but definitely not warm or hot!
this all just happened recently because I had everything working perfectly!
I have not had any problems with the air conditioning at all! Now with the heat not working and the vent selection not working, the AC is still working perfectly but not the vent selection

Have you looked at fuse #10 and #16 on the BCM ?

 

Yes I checked both of those fuses and the relay,
I’m going to replace the relay because I have no way to check that, but both fuses were good!

is it possible for the problem to be the relay?
everything was working fine a couple weeks ago, vent control and heater. Then we got this colder weather and I went to use heat and discovered that the vent control wouldn’t move when I selected a different zone and I would only get cold air even though I turned the knob to full heat!

 

Blend door actuator is kaput.
