Climate Control Vent Selector
I was driving last night and it started acting up again. I had the defrost on and all the sudden air started coming out of the front dash and the selector knob was unresponsive.
Since the reset seemed to go through all the vents I think the motors might all be ok. Maybe it's an issue with the climate control panel?
I also just changed the cabin air filter right after I bought the car. Is there anything I could have messed up while replacing that?

Only if you didn't put the filter in the slot or stuck something in the hole.
The control panel is very easy to replace. stick your fingers in the vents and yank to remove the "waterfall" then 2 screws and the electrical connector.

HVAC fuse
Before condemning anything do a system relearn and see what you get.
AC reset
Turn the system on full cold Max AC.
Radio OFF.
Turn ignition OFF.
Pull the HVAC (AC) fuse from interior fuse box. Leave out for 1 minute and replace.
Turn key to run/on position....NOT start.
Do not touch any controls. You'll hear the doors (actuators) being opened and closed. The HVAC module is learning the full open and full close positions. Wait until the system is completely done with the learning process. Less than a minute.
Start and test the system.

which is which?
I actually pulled each fuse separately at a time, but I got no change vents still blowing from dash only not going to different vents
