Clock Spring Part Number

Clock Spring Part Number

Airbag light goes off every time I turn the stering wheel to the right has to be a bad clock spring. Searched the forums but the part number i found 15923770 doesn't work. Anyone have the new part number for the clock spring? Thanks!

I can understand your frustration with this. Your local Chevrolet dealership's parts department should be able to assist you with this information.

Please, keep in mind if you were to purchase the part from the dealership and it is a genuine GM part, there is a 12 months warranty on it. The warranty would begin the day you purchased the part.

Since your's is a 2008, would this be covered by the warranty? Safety and emissions problems have that oddball extended coverage. Somebody chime in and help this person out with some info.

Yeah firemangeorge it's an 08 but with 150,00 miles on it so the warranty pretty much gone. I really don't want to go to the stealership because they wanted $75 for the part where as gmpartsdirect.com only wants $36.00. I looked it up through their online catalog which doesn't give you the part number. Many Thanks for the welcome firemangeorge! I've been able to find everything I've needed since I've joined without posting between here and cobaltssforum.net.
